Residential construction spending up 3.2% in October

Residential construction spending up 3.2% in October: Residential construction spending rose 3.2% from a month ago to a seasonally adjusted annual rate of $247.3 billion, the U.S. Census Bureau said Thursday.
That annual rate is also up 0.6% from residential spending levels a year ago, though still down significantly from the peak level of $676.4 billion in March 2006.
